Members come together to participate in programs, including new Members-only events held each year. These events are opportunities to gather as friends and enjoy the beauty of the site and the company of other friends in the community. Your membership of $50 each season ensures this essential work continues to provide a free, public garden, educational and cultural space, and historic site for future generations of Mainers and visitors from around the globe.

Volunteer Membership

In 2015 we started offering a special volunteer membership to those spending 20 hours per year or more working with us in the garden, gift shop, or behind the scenes at events and activities or fundraising efforts. Community members interested in earning these memberships should call the garden to talk about opportunities.

Please note: Your membership to McLaughlin Garden is a tax deductible donation. The McLaughlin Foundation is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit, all donations are tax deductible. The Garden accepts Visa, Mastercard, Check or Cash or online payment through the website for membership.  Credit card payment can be accepted over the phone, however check or cash must be mailed or dropped off in person; please do not mail cash. Please contact the Foundation if you do not receive mailed confirmation of your donation.
