Garden Gift Shop

The McLaughlin Garden Gift Shop has a wonderful inventory of seeds, garden tools, art and handmade items, and unique gifts perfect for every occasion. We also offer a wide selection of unique plants for sale (while supplies last).

From Mother’s Day weekend until December 23rd, the garden gift shop is open from 10:00am – 4:00pm on Tuesdays through Sundays. 

Gift certificates are available for purchase, and we accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. The proceeds from all gift shop sales directly support the long-term sustainability and preservation of the McLaughlin Garden and Homestead.

Annual Plant Sale

We offer a variety of perennials for sale each year, specializing in unique plant varieties that are hardy in Maine and that anyone can grow. Whether you’re looking for shade-loving wildflowers for your woodland garden or native species that pollinators will go crazy for, we’ve got your plant needs covered!

Our plant sale begins Mother’s Day weekend and ends in late October (exact date dependent on weather and remaining inventory).
