We open on the Friday before Mother’s Day every year. The Garden is open to all from dawn until dusk. The Homestead, Barn, and Gift Shop are open Wednesday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (we’re closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) . Check our event schedule to see what’s happening in the garden this week.
Starting in November, the Homestead is open for programs and workshops. The Gift Shop is open most days 12 noon to 4 p.m until Christmas. We suggest calling ahead 207-743-8820
From Christmas until Mother’s Day the McLaughlin Garden and Homestead is closed to the public except for scheduled events.
Visiting us is always free, but we do have donation boxes in the barn and by the garden gate for suggested entry donations of $5 per person. All donations directly support garden and homestead care and maintenance and are greatly appreciated!
The McLaughlin Foundation is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit, all donations are tax deductible.
